HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCES POLICY

Tom Ryan Concrete considers all chemicals to be hazardous substances.

Tom Ryan Concrete is focused on eliminating all hazardous substances, wherever a suitable and safe alternative is available.  However, where use of a particular hazardous substance is unavoidable, we will use control measures for managing them as followed:

• All sites will be issued with Material Safety Data Sheets that confirm to work safe Australia standards and local legislation.

• All labelling will conform to the above requirements, which identify Hazardous Substances and where they are used.

• All decanter bottles will be labelled in accordance with work safe Australia standards.

Tom Ryan Concrete and technical experts will provide staff training on hazardous substances and product knowledge training to all users. Hazardous substances register will be kept and maintained.
